Jennifer Timer

Jennifer Timer grew up idolizing Stephen King, John Saul, Anne Rice, and John Farris. Sleepless high school nights were spent devouring novels and churning out her own horror and suspense pieces. One of these was actually published in her undergrad university newspaper, the winner of a Hallowe’en horror short story contest.

These days, her horror stories are more mature, often incorporating the terror of being a grown-up. Jennifer is not only a horror writer but also writes fiction and creative nonfiction.

Jennifer also wrote horribly embarrassing teenage love poems, a few of which were published in her high school yearbook, just so they can still haunt her to this very day.

Talk about scary.

Jennifer Timer is a writer based out of Port Moody, BC.
